Andong 안동시 - Mask Dance Festival

"Andong is a city in the Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, South Korea. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392 -1897) it became the birth place of Confucianism in Korea. This city is known as a centre of culture and folk traditions. The Mask Dance Festival is held in Andong area every year, with the theme of mask and mask dance. The slogan of the festival is "hearts bursting with excitement; feel exuberant."
